Depression and Anxiety: A Self-Help Guide for Mothers Vancouver, BC: Grandview
Printing Co. Ltd., 1987. Simply written and easy to read (even when a person has
trouble concentrating), this short book discusses common symptoms and feelings
of women experiencing PPD. Includes a section on "What Helps." The disadvantage
of this otherwise helpful book is its negative bias against the use of antidepressant
medication for PPD. (Many women have found antidepressants very valuable).
