Electronic sensing devices convert blood pressure, heart rate, skin temperature, EEG
and other physiologic variables into visual or sound signals to provide objective
awareness of the degree of success in controlling them as a result of cognitive-behavior
therapy interventions or training. This modality may be added to relaxation training to assist in control of anxiety symptoms,
headache and other problems.
