communicative pressure/communicative stress

The perception that a given speaking situation will be difficult, as exemplified by such factors as speaking to authority figures, large groups of people, formulating linguistically complex utterances, reading difficult material, speaking on the telephone, or talking under the pressure of having a lot to say in a limited amount of time.
