eye contact
Looking the listener in the eye while talking to him. Generally a natural, although not a constant interaction, of the speaker's eyes with the listener's eyes. Maintaining eye contact is considered a technique in stuttering therapy recommended to help the stutterer combat feelings of shame, embarrassment or inadequacy.
