A COUPLES WORKSHOP
for couples who want to develop an extraordinary partnership

In a two day intensive workshop, Terry Hand and Brad Coutts will lead couples through an informative and insightful training session followed by group discussion and relationship building exercises. This program is an enjoyable balance of educational material and small group interaction. Some people are concerned about expressing themselves in front of others. In reality, people know exactly what to talk about to maintain their own comfort. You will have as much privacy and choices as you want.

GROUP THERAPY OFFERINGS

Terry Hand's Group Therapy Offerings:

COUPLES GROUP
Second Friday of the month: 6:00 - 9:00 AM
This group is based on the PARTNERS IN TIME workshop and is designed for couples who want to develop an extraordinary partnership. We will focus on developing and maintaining intimate, lasting relationships in which the individual and the relationship thrive. It will be an on-going group and have a maximum of 4 couples.

• Cost: $175.00 PER COUPLE

TWO EATING DISORDER GROUPS FOR WOMEN
TUESDAYS: 4:30 - 6:00 PM
WEDNESDAYS: 6:00 - 7:30 PM
These are established groups which have openings regularly. Focus is on the function of the eating disorder behavior and developing coping strategies to feel more control in one's life.

• COST: $ 45.00 PER SESSION 

All of the above groups focus on how to:

• Develop skills to help your relationships grow and mature
• Identify your needs and goals
• Develop new strategies to increase choices in life decisions
• Learn to deal with emotions effectively, including anger

Brad Coutt's Group Therapy Offerings:

• Men's Group
  Mondays 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
  Fee: $35.00 per session

• Women's Group
  Wednesdays 12:00 noon - 1:30 p.m.
  Fee: $35.00 per session

Both groups are established on-going groups with current openings

The focus of each group is to assist members to create the life they want for themselves as individuals and partners in a relationship.

Steps in the process include:

• identifying and expressing one's own thoughts, feelings, values, desires, needs

• manage one's intense feelings

• develop awareness of others as separate and different

• develop ability to listen, hear, and respond effectively during conflict

• develop ability to agree, disagree, or be supportive without losing self

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS:

With over 35 years of combined experience in couples, individual and group therapy, Terry Hand and Brad Coutts are renowned for their training within the community. Both were trained at The Couples Institute, Menlo Park, California.
