A word or phrase that can have two opposite meanings.

Examples:

    • “Love”
      • altruistic desire to please another person even at one’s own expense 
      • a very selfish sort of possessiveness of that other person to meet one’s own needs
    • "Sanction"
      • approval
      • negative consequence
    • "Cleave"
      • stick together
      • cut apart
  • Phrase:
    • “I can’t believe you did that!”
      • “I hate what you did.”
      • “I wish I could do what you just did.”
    • "Why did you do that?"
      • "I don't like that you did that."
      • "I'm curious about your motivation for doing that."
