countertransference (Gestalt)

-in the narrow sense, the therapist's conscious and above all unconscious responses induced by the person of the client (and notably by his/her transference). In a wider sense, everything which, from the person of the therapist, can impact on the relationship. Gestalt consciously exploits some counter-transferential processes.
