family myths (unified psychotherapy)

Stories, proverbs or slogans a family uses to justify the family rules and roles to itself. Myths exist at other levels, too: At the individual level myths manifest themselves as irrational thoughts. A myth shared by an ethnic group may be identified as a theology.
