family sculpture

Family sculpture is a diagnostic tool and therapeutic technique by which the relational patterns within the family can be spatially and concretely visualized and experienced. The types of interactional patterns that can be illustrated include the closeness/distance of family members to one another, the structure of the family hierarchy, and the patterns of nonverbal communication.
