FDA: FOIA? -- FOOEY!

Four years ago I reported my attempts to find out from the FDA the identity of the company or companies that administer REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) programs.

Four years have passed, and FDA still has not processed my FoIA (Freedom of Information Act) request for the information.

They say justice delayed is justice denied. How can the bureaucrats call information "free" when they delay release of that information?

This information does not require retrieval from a file. FDA employees probably regularly (I hope.) monitor the activities of REMS programs. They already know who runs them.

I call fraud, blatant concealment of information the American people have a right to know.
