information package

Information package is a metaphorical phrase which refers to five aspects of information believed to be stored neurologically. The information package is considered to be intrinsically a blend of: 1) physical sensations; 2) emotions; 3) auditory or verbal material; 4) visual images; and 5) cognitive schema. All elements of the information package shift and change together when the information processing system is catalyzed in EMDR treatment.
