McMaster model of family functioning

This is a problem-oriented systems model of family functioning developed by Nathan B. Epstein and his coworkers (see references). Its concepts evolved from studies of both normal and clinical populations; they are intended to define family health and pathology. "Health" is largely equated with "normality" (healthy/functional families).
