Author Richard describes hallucinations to editor Clarissa. (0:21)

Virginia, referring to her character Mrs. Dalloway: "She'll kill herself. She'll kill herself over something which doesn't seem to matter." (0:31)

Richard's ex-lover Louis tells Clarissa, referring to a character in Richard's new book, "For no reason, she kills herself."
