PL 94-460

The public law that created the 1976 amendments to the Health Maintenance Organization Act of 1973 (Title XIII of the Public Health Service Act, P.L. 93-222). This legislation gave greater flexibility to HMOs in their organization and structure. The amendments also increased federal monies to support HMO development and operation.
