A form of therapy in which persons act out their problems by playing various roles in reenacting presumably important incidents from the past or anticipated experiences that are dreaded or feared. Can be used in working with stutterers in the attempt to enable them to improve their speech and related behavior in those situations in which they have the most speech difficulty.
