safe place
A safe place is a helpful image that is created by the client (generally during the Client Preparation phase). It can be used as a resting place during prolonged reprocessing or as a way of reducing disturbance at the end of an incomplete session. It also provides a self-care method for responding to disturbing material that may emerge between sessions.
